Frequently Asked Questions
If you can't find your answer below please contact us directly and we'd love to help.
What can I expect at my first visit?
During your first dental visit with MaDental & Associates you can expect to be welcomed into our Miami dental practice with open arms. We are here to help your smile instead of judge it. We will assess your smile, do a deep clean, complete a thorough exam, and take x-rays if absolutely necessary to get a better idea of your oral health. Once we have completed these steps we will create an individualized and comprehensive care plan.
Do you take my insurance?
Our Miami dentist office accepts a wide range of insurances. However, we cannot ensure that every single insurance carrier is accepted here. Please call the front office for clarification or stop by MaDental & Associates today to speak to a payment coordinator.
Do I need to arrive early for my first appointment?
It’s important to arrive 10-15 minutes early to your appointment to provide insurance cards, identification, and fill out any remaining forms.
Do I need to bring anything specific to my first appointment?
Please bring your insurance card, identification, and a list of medications you’re currently taking.
How long will my first appointment last?
Your first appointment will vary on several factors like how long it’s been since you’ve seen a dentist, if you have had records sent over from your previous dentist, and more. The MaDental & Associates dentists will use this first appointment to get an indepth idea of your oral health and create an appropriate care plan.
Do I really need to go to the dentist?
Teeth aren’t luxuries, they’re necessities. Going to your local dentist preserves the integrity of your teeth and helps your oral health remain optimal. If you skip the dentist plaque and tartar will continue to build causing bad breath, cavities, tooth decay, and eventually tooth loss. Going to the dentist is crucial to your oral health.
